Comments:
A collection of old synth pop classics (1979-1986); some I remember and some I hadn't heard of until I bought this compilation (which doesn't mean much, since I was probably too young to remember hearing them when they were released). I have another similar collection with other artists and songs, though some appear on both.
One little amusing detail about this compilation is the choice of artists: there are some strange relations between many of them. John Foxx used to be in Ultravox, and when he left he was replaced by Midge Ure. Gary Numan's band was Tubeway Army. Vince Clarke was once in Yazoo, then in The Assembly. Two of the founding members of The Human League left and formed Heaven 17. I wonder if the person who picked the bands knew of any unrelated artists?
