Comments:
This is the first release on the legendary Mute label, started by the man that
was The Normal, Daniel Miller. Well, since it's a CD it's obviously a re-release,
but anyways. Mute would become quite famous for bands like
Depeche Mode,
Yazoo and
Erasure, and Miller often had something to do with
them, mainly producing and/or remixing.
These two songs are rather primitive and raw synthpop, with a quite experimental
feel. The vocals aren't exactly stunning, but rather monotonous. In fact, if it
weren't for the vocals, there are quite a lot of similarities with very early
Human League, which also were released around
this time. 1995 rerelease.
