When I bought this album I had only heard the hits from it, and expected the rest to be quite bad. I was surprised to find that I was wrong. Ok, so it's pretty arrogant and slimy, but the synth arrangements are really good, and pretty much every single song is good. The most boring song is easily the title track. Rumour has it the main talent left the band after this album. I have not heard any more recent Alphaville, so I can't comment on any change in style.
