Comments:
Norwegian synth pop. Ok, so 'Take On Me' is an extremely annoying nonsense pop song, but some of the other songs are really good. I particularly like 'Train Of Thought', which is close to EBM with a fast synth bassline and low pitched vocals. 'The Sun Always Shines On TV' is a nice little pop song with a title that somehow appeals to my sarcastic sense of humour. The chorus is a bit wimpy (I don't like it when he sings that high-pitched), but the verse is quite good, and the strings and bassline are great throughout the track. The title track is a very good love ballad, nicely arranged. Actually, I bought the album just because of that song. Some of the other songs only seem half-done, like tracks 4 and 7 - maybe they didn't have more material at the time?
