Comments:

A theme album of sorts (space/technology/communication) from this supposedly legendary synth/industrial band. I haven't heard much apart from this album (which by some people is considered to be rather bad), but I kind of like it. The vocals aren't too excellent (slightly out of tune), but the music is quite good, all synthetic with bleeps and bloops and long filter sweeps. I guess I'd classify it as dark alternative synth (pop). It's a bit dreamy and spacey, and mostly quite slow with the occasional more upbeat track.

Apparently, Adi Newton of this band was once in an early incarnation of The Human League, but given that this was released about 15 years after his departure it's difficult to find any great musical similarities.
