Comments:
This is Swedish pop music in the vein of St. Etienne or Dubstar (or so I'm told). To my defense I can only say I did not buy this album; it came with my subscription of Release Music Magazine. I requested they'd send me Covenant: Sequencer (which I already had but intended to give away to some worthy receiver) but apparently they ran out and sent me this instead.
It's not bad, but it's nothing I'd buy myself. The vocals (female, mostly, except on 'Gullable' and a few short instrumentals) sound a bit too Swedish to me, at least when she sings in English. Can't really say about the Italian, since I don't know that language myself. Bonus points for singing in something other than English, though. I deduct from the leaflet that the singer has an Italian sounding last name, which could explain it. Still, I find the soft female voice a little too smooth for my taste.
Well, I suppose I can always play this album when I have to socialize with people who only listen to pop music.
