Comments:
This album is a bit slower, darker, synthier and generally better than World Without End. It's great to play when it's cold, dark and freezing outside, and you're inside in the warmth and with poor lighting. I like it a lot.
The most commonly considered "best song" on the album is 'Blue Moon', most likely because it's the poppiest. I find it somewhat boring; I like songs like the slow 'Dress Me When I Bleed' and 'Like A Sea Of Flames' or the fairly uptempo 'Free From Cares' a whole lot more. But that's just me.
The album after this one, 'Fairyland', struck me as being too poppy and what little I heard reminded me too much of generic American synth pop. Maybe I'm too quick to judge, but I won't buy it until I hear more from it. Catch 22?
