These 'Religion' remixes are quite different than those on the
other single; they sound a lot more like
The Prodigy, which is hardly
surprising since they did the remixes. This is in fact where I more or less
"discovered" The Prodigy; I was aware of their earlier
material, but it didn't strike me as particularly original at the time.
Catchy, but hardly unique. These mixes were harder, and quite stomping.
So, I bought the new single at the time, which was
One Love - you know, the one released
just before the breakthrough track 'No Good'. I was one step ahead, but I
never saw it coming.
The remixes of Crapage were done by
The Orb, and it's rather obvious
as well; mostly cut-up samples from the song, hardly identifiable at
all. Sound more like The Orb than 242. It's not the
first time The Orb remixes 242, though.
