Synthetic pop music, more pop-made-with-synths than synthetic-music-that-sounds-poppy. I bought this mainly for nostalgia reasons, but it's really a good pop album, with quite diverse styles and lots of nice DX7 keywork. A small number of songs are a bit weaker, but they're all fairly good anyway. There are no songs that I'd classify as outstanding works of art, but some are really quite good. It could of course be the nostalgia factor. I seem to recall there being a few songs on the previous album as well that were quite good - was it called 'Humans Lib'? If I find it cheap somewhere I'll probably buy it.
