Here the machines seem to have given way almost completely to real instruments, or maybe it's just a new generation of Yamaha gear. The pop songs are still here, but not strictly following the pop formula; like on Cross That Line, the songs are generally a bit longer and with less apparent chords changes. This album is not as much in-your-face-big-band-jazz, but more relaxed slow-jazz in places. It does seem a bit uninteresting though, or maybe I just haven't listened to it enough.
