The second album from this Swedish pop singer; this is quite a bit better than the debut. Soft guitar pop with catchy choruses and pleasing lyrics. 'Precis Som Du' was quite a big hit this year, written by Swedish pop guru Mauro Scocco. This album is much more than that, though.

It was when she toured to promote this album and played an excellent show here at the university I first discovered her. The show was great, the band played well together although they hadn't toured much together, the crowd was excited and had a lot of fun... I get nostalgic just thinking about it.

Some time after that show I bought this album, and later the previous one too. Sure, they're more stiff and not as excellent as the show, but it's good pop music. There's one song that bears a striking resemblance to the Oasis song 'Wonderwall' (released about five years later), not in the actual melody, but in all the instrumentation (acoustic guitar, funky drums, soft strings etc.) and the way the instruments are played. Well, perhaps the guitar here is slightly less rocky. I suppose both Irma and Oasis ripped off the same old Beatles track.
