Comments:

The legendary Kraftwerk, the ultimate techno pioneers. Not the only ones, mind you, but definitely more influential than most other bands ever. The classic 'Autobahn' could, using modern terms, be described as "techno-trance". I guess. And I suppose 'Morgenspaziergang' is more ambient than most ambient music I've heard.
