Comments:
All tracks are built almost exclusively from samples: drum loop, speeches, newscasts etc. featuring people like George Bush and Desmond Tutu. It's all very nicely pieced together, as if LPC are really trying to say something. I'm not sure I get the point exactly, but still I enjoy listening to it. For instance, there are a few tracks with a heavy dose of religious "this-is-the-way-it-is" stuff; I tend to listen to it pretty much in the same way I listen to Welcome To Paradise, but I'm not sure that's the way it was intended. Other topics touched are the death penalty, the Gulf war, the Rodney King beatings etc.
People have compared this band to Emergency Broadcast Network, and from what I've heard they're not too dissimilar.
Small useless comment: when I first heard Will Smith's big hit 'Gettin' Jiggy Wit It' I knew I had heard a specific vocal sample ("na-na-na-na-na-na-na") before - it can also be found on track 12 on this album.
