Comments:
During a period in '91 I listened to this album a lot, around the time I left my hometown and started studying at the Luleå University. It's been quite a while since I've listened to it, and now it brings back a lot of memories. I get flashbacks to my first dorm room, and how good it was to finally live on my own. I also distinctly remember the first time I heard 'Till Dom Ensamma', a song about lonely people. I had just bought the album and listened to it for the first time, doing some stuff in my old room back home, and the song came on, and it was about me. I was in my late teens and felt really lonely and unwanted, the way many people do at that age. Later the song was released as a single, which annoyed me. It felt too private to hear it on the radio. Now when I hear it, I remember how I felt back then.
This is still a rather good pop album, even if it's a bit dated. Specifically, some lyrics contain subjects that was very on-the-spot in '91, but not today. Mauro went on to release a number of albums after this one, but he changed style into a more whitey-soul type music that never interested me much, and I also lost interest in pop music in general, diving deeper into the world of electronics and alternatives. Today I must admit that I've started to like some of the chart stuff again, but I guess that's just a sign of me getting old.
