Mobile Homes goes Kent; gloomy depressive radio rock. It becomes easier
and easier to claim they only copy other bands, but that's not saying
they always to a bad job of it. These tracks are actually quite catchy,
and seems a bit more original than, say, their
Electronic-wannabe stage.
The cover depicts
an X-ray image of a pistol in a suitcase, and the inside a close-up of
said pistol. I'd take that as a nod to the cover of
Hurt, which features nothing but a large image
of a pistol. (I compared the two images. It's not the same pistol, but
quite similar.)
