Comments:
This album shows a somewhat harder side of Mobile Homes, which could possibly have to do with the fact that it was produced by Julian Beeston, who has previously worked with Nitzer Ebb. It sounds a bit sharper, edgier, a little like "EBM light" in places. Unfortunately, most old fans didn't seem to like this new approach, and this album was significantly less successful than its predecessor Nothing But Something. A shame really, since many of their best songs ever are on this album. They sound less dull and whiney, and more dark and contemplative. They might take a while to get into, but once you're past that, it's worth it. Some of their weakest songs can also be found on this album, but the good ones outweigh the bad ones by far. The most immediate hits would be 'When?', 'To Belong' and 'I Can't Believe You'.
