Comments:
John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants. Some songs are a lot like TMBG, like the damn catchy 'Unsupervised, I Hit My Head', although some of them come in a slightly different flavour. Specifically, and for obvious reasons, it often sounds like starting off at Factory Showroom, released the same year, and taking an extra step in a somewhat different direction. The instrumental surfguitar tune 'Guitar Was The Case' sounds a lot like something Man... Or Astroman? could have recorded, and the low-key 'Hello Hello' has a certain Devo-esque quality, at their un-Devo-ier moments. 'Dr. Kildare' is what TMBG would have sounded like if they ever decided to play ska music. 'Don't I Have The Right' features some woman named Nancy Lynn Howell and is basically a country song with TMBG-style lyrics.
