Back in 1994 I first heard of Oomph on
a compilation.
I rather liked their track,
but eventually forgot about them. I was from then on vaguely aware that they kept on releasing material,
but didn't hear many of their songs. Imagine my surprise when I, ten years later, was visiting
Berlin and found that they had a massive hit in Germany with this track at the time. It, also, is
rather good, but I mainly bought the single to document my ignorance of their status in Germany
and as a nostalgia trigger for that trip, since the song was playing everywhere.
