Comments:
Angry young black men voicing their views on what's wrong with their world. I'm inclined to agree on lots of it (though not everything). Much of it applies to my world too. Unfortunately.
Anyway, musically this is quite interesting indeed, given that you like rap & hip-hop. Heaps and heaps of samples from every possible source, from James Brown to Martin Luther King and beyond. The samples are all there to fulfill a certain purpose, and none seem misplaced. They even sample the Beastie Boys, twisting their party-anthem into something significantly more substancial and aggressive. Some of their own voice samples are a bit cheesy though, like a kid toying around with his brand new sampler, but most of it is quite high quality stuff.
