Comments:
This is most likely another FLA side project. "Most likely"? Well, the sleeve claims that all tracks were written by some R. Deckard (which is the name of the main character in the book 'Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep' or the more widely known movie 'Bladerunner'; indicating a non-existent person) and Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber are credited as producers and sonic manipulators. Also, contradicting the sleeve is a sticker on the cover that states "Synaesthesia is Bill Leeb & Rhys Fulber of Frontline Assembly". Rumour has it that they invented this Deckard character and new project name to get around a nasty record deal; if they admittedly released new material on another label they'd be breaking their original contract. True or not, it does make sense.
It does sound a lot like a Leeb/Fulber side project (the tracks even have typical Leeb/Fulber names), much like a mix of Intermix, Noise Unit and Delerium, all at their acid-techno-ambient-trancier moments. I suppose the closest comparison is Delerium's Spheres II.
