Comments:
One of the catchier songs from the album Assignment: Earth, along with two remixes of another song off the album and one new track. The radio version is pretty much like the album version, only cut a bit short. 'Not Human' on the other hand has been remixed rather drastically. The first remix is warped and disted, and with some heavy FX on the vocals. I suppose all that remains of the original song are vocal samples that they've manipulated, the rest seems new. It's a bit like S.P.O.C.K gone 'industrial' in a sense. It's quite interesting, and more schizoid than the normal version. The second remix is something quite different also: piano chords and a jazz/swingbeat. It does feel quite out of place with the S.P.O.C.K vocals, but at least it's a bit funny. 'Romulan Ale' reminds me a bit of Daily Planet, and rumour has it that it's written by (or at least co-written with) one of the guys of that band. It's catchy and upbeat, blippy and rather funny.
