The latest official release is NetBSD 3.0. One can also obtain older formal releases of NetBSD, as well as snapshots of the -current development tree.

3.0 - AllLinuxCD (top)

AllLinuxCD carries a number of CD version of NetBSD 3.0 (2.x is also available). They ship worldwide.

3.0 - BSD-Systems.co.uk (top)

BSD-Systems.co.uk ships NetBSD/i386 3.0/2.1, NetBSD/amd64 3.0/2.1 and NetBSD/sparc64 3.0/2.1 worldwide. They also supply the NetBSD live CD. By purchasing a NetBSD CD from BSD-Systems.co.uk, you are indirectly donating to the NetBSD Project to further development. On each CD sold, 50 pence (0.50) is donated back to the Project.

3.0 - Kordula's Web Services, CDs and DVDs (top)

Kordula's Web Services offers the latest NetBSD release 3.0 on CD as well as CD-ROM sets of the NetBSD 3.0 release for i386 architecture, which includes binaries, full source code and precompiled packages for many of the ports. Alternatively, they also offer the content of these sets on a single DVD+R.

Price: Eur. 15,00 / USD 15.00 plus shipping.

Kordula's Web Services also created a new NetBSD web forum (default language English) to support the NetBSD community.

3.0 - Linux System Labs (top)

Linux System Labs offers the NetBSD 3.0 release on three multiarchitecture CDs. They're located in Australia, but will gladly ship worldwide.

3.0 - Linux-Distro.co.uk (top)

Linux Distro UK is selling NetBSD 3.0 for amd64, i386, macppc, and dreamcast platforms. Packages for amd64 and i386 are also available as separate CDs. The company is based in the UK but does offer cheap shipping to the rest of the world.

Linuxiso.co.uk offers NetBSD 3.0 for a wide range of supported platforms (including multipatform sets). Shipping available worldwide.

3.0 - Maxtux.co.uk (top)

maxtux.co.uk sells a single i386 installation CD of NetBSD 3.0, 2.1, 2.0.2, 1.6.2, and the i386 binary package 6-CD set for the NetBSD 1.6.1.

2.1 - Linux Central (top)

Linux Central ships a NetBSD 2.1 CD, 2.0.2 CD, and 2.0.2 two multiarch CDs. NetBSD 1.6 and old 1.5.1 4 CD set (previously available on BSD Central) still in the stock.

2.1 - Mensys BV (top)

Mensys sells NetBSD 2.1 on CD-ROM, and offer several payment methods. The installation CD contains NetBSD for i386, amd64 and macppc machines, and two multiarch CDs. Check the site for details.

2.1 - CheepLinux (top)

CheepLinux offers a four CDROM set of NetBSD 2.1 - three multiarch CDs and one with source code. Orders dispatch before 3:30PM on the same day and ship worldwide.

BSD Mall offer multi-boot 2.0 and 2.0.2 release CD. The CD-ROM contains full binary release for i386, macppc, sparc64, sparc, and source for all architectures. CD-ROM is bootable on all four architectures.

XPLinux sells NetBSD Release CDROMS for i386, packages, and the NetBSD Live CDROM.

1.6 - Bob's Budget CDs for NetBSD (top)

1.6 CDs, 1.5.3 Release Sets (2 CDs) and -current snapshots for most ports for US$7.50/CD (or equivalent). Release CD sets include sources and binaries for all ports in the release. Snapshot CDs include sources and binaries for the requested port; HowTos, ReadMe files and misc user-contributed code, scripts and examples. Packages CDs are also available which include the currently available pre-built packages collection for the requested port. Special CDs are also available for Sun and Mac users including an “all NetBSD versions for mac68k”, an “all-mac CD with both mac68k and macppc ports” and a Sparc/i386/mac68k/macppc -current snapshot CD.

1.6 - BSD Mall: NetBSD release CDs (top)

Daemon News has been selling NetBSD releases on shrink-wrapped CD sets since 1999. They are currently available at bsdmall.com and for resellers through Cylogistics. They will always have the current set. These include a 3rd "Live Filesystem" CD and are available on a subscription basis.

Daemon News uses the proceeds to promote NetBSD at trade conferences and subsidize the DN Print Magazine.

1.6 - MCD2 Diffusion (top)

MCD2 Diffusion distributes a NetBSD 1.6 CDROM.

MCD2 Diffusion offers next working day delivery for Metropolitan France. Delivery outside of France is available for an additional carriage cost.

1.6 - Wasabi Systems (top)

Wasabi Systems carries two editions of the NetBSD 1.6 release on CD-ROM. The Standard Edition contains bootable CDs for i386 PC, Alpha, DECstation, SPARC, Power Macintosh, and VAX platforms. The Deluxe Edition contains 6 CD-ROMs and over 3 GB of pre-compiled third party software for x86 PCs. They are available through the Wasabi Systems web site.

1.5.3 - Cylogistics (top)

Cylogistics is a distributor for the Daemon News 1.5.3 and Wasabi 1.5.2 NetBSD releases on CD-ROM, as well as other BSD products to resellers only. Cylogistics also promotes NetBSD at shows and events.

1.5 - NetBSD/i386 Firewall Project (top)

The NetBSD/i386 firewall project now sells a CD version as well. The CD does not only contain the firewall distribution, but all the binaries and sources of the i386 port of NetBSD as well. There's also a 3-CD kit that contains the source code of almost all the packages in the package source tree.

Custom - Yong S. Yi: Release versions for all architectures (top)

Yong S. Yi also produces custom CD's, including the release, binary packages, and documentation, for whatever architecture (or combination of architectures) is requested. Price is US $6.50, including shipping to any U.S. location.

This directory contains one image per port, and they are bootable on those platforms currently supporting CD-ROM booting.The macppc image is bootable on all versions of OpenFirmware.

Also included is a CD set of binary packages compiled for NetBSD/i386. See the README files in the download directory for more information.
