Welcome to My Homepage

The homepage starter kit, version 2

This page is not for beginners!
Beginners should work through the homepage starter kit, version 1 first!

Most "HTML editors" are not very good! They can seriously screw up your pages! If you try one of those on this material and fail - don't come running to me with any complaints! Download a fresh copy and start over again with the raw source code and, then when you fail we can start discussing things... (If this sounds too complicated for you try version 1 instead!)

Some text editing stuff (easy, basic html)

How to make tables (very good stuff!)

A page with frames (very difficult to get right!)
Do NOT use frames unless you have a very good reason! Let your homepage (and your homepage-making, and homepage-reading, experience) become at least a year old before you even think about using frames! This is very serious advice! Frames are NOT "cool"! People can get very angry with you if you do not make your frames correctly and have a good reason for using them! Frames scare off visitors from a page!

Image maps (useful, not too difficult but can be a bit tricky to make)

Guest books (Personally I don't understand what's so fun about them but people seem to like them so here's one that you can copy and use)

Pictures that change when you point the mouse on them (They are cute, but I have no idea of how they really work. I just copied this from somewhere)
