Apparently, C.J. Bolland is some legendary techno dude, but this is the first of his material I've come into contact with. It's not a very good first impression, since it sounds waaay too much like The Prodigy, in particular Poison and Breathe. The vocals are a bit different though, they're disted female shouts, and remind me quite a bit of a band The Prodigy has worked with in the past, namely the truly legendary Front 242. To be more specific, it sounds a lot like 99 Kowalski's vocals on 05:22:09:12 Off. Given how much of this song reminds me of other stuff it's hard to take it seriously. I really laughed the first time I heard it. Maybe it's really not that bad, but if it isn't plagiarizing I don't know what is. Perhaps this was just an experiment, and mr. Bolland's other material sounds more original?

The remixes aren't exactly exciting to my ear, perhaps apart from the last one. It sounds a bit like the Chemical Brothers, but's not as similar to them as the original version is to the Prodigy. The use of vocal samples seems a bit cheap though; sometimes less is more. Still, I like this version more than the first.
