Live versions of some very good songs, with the first track being
the only one not as brilliant as the others. Good, but not brilliant.
Actually, it's pretty interesting to hear live versions of some of the
songs off Violator, since they're too new
to be on 101. 'Personal Jesus' is pretty cool
- especially with that short guitar solo in the middle! :-) As a
matter of fact, 'Enjoy The Silence' also has something of a
guitar solo in the middle! 'Halo', however, doesn't even have a hint
of guitars - all as it should be with this track. Actually, it's not
very re-made at all, which is otherwise quite common with the live
tracks. Still, it's always a very, very good song.
All in all, I get the feeling that Dave sings a bit more sluggish
and slurry than usual; could he be tired from all that touring or is
it that suggested heroine perhaps?
