side project Delerium is revived after three years of inactivity, and
back with a new sound. It's not like the
Faces, Forms And Illusions to
Spiritual Archives era type Delerium,
nor is it like the Euphoric mini album.
Instead, it's sort of acid-techno-trance-ambient, with lots of resonant
filter sweeps, blips and bleeps. Perhaps this new style would fit better
under a different project name, letting old Delerium forever be connected
with the old dark industra-ambient; it's not like Bill and Rhys haven't
created new side projects before. Still, even if it's different from
the older material, it's very good and relaxing. In fact, it's excellent.
And no, there seems to be no relation to the track 'Sphere' off
Stone Tower.
