'Feel Every Beat' strikes me as an odd single choice, much less apparent
than for instance Get The Message. It's
not a bad track, don't get me wrong, it's very good. It's just not very
representative for the album; Bernard "raps"
the verse and sings the chorus to a more-than-usually funky beat, a kind of
slow groove. And, as on 'Get The Message', DNA does a funkier and more bass
heavy remix.
'Second To None' has a bit weak verse, but the chorus is good and strong.
It might not fit on the album, but it's a great B-side. 'Lean To The Inside'
is a very nice instrumental track that displays in an excellent way what
a talented musician can do with an instrument as limited as the Roland D-10
(or another in that series - I own a D-110 and it doesn't sound nearly as
good as this with me pushing its buttons).
