Comments:

This is the first Eurythmics album, although Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox had been working together under the name The Tourists for a few years and released a handful of albums. This album is not as synthetic as I had expected, it's rather more like alternative guitar pop, not too unlike The Cure or Joy Division, quite depressing. A bit experimental, it even reminds me slightly of Devo at times. It's not too bad, but I tend to favour the following album quite a bit more.
