Comments:

This album is less disco-ish than Shattered Grounds, and sound even more retro than before. Instead of reminding me of Data I think of Yazoo or the likes, especially in the drum machine patterns and blippy sounds - like their old b-side Restrain but taken a bit further. This is all fine, but... the trouble is that the songs have so similar sounds and rhythms I confuse them with each other, they sound so alike. There are some really catchy songs on the album, but it gets a bit boring in the long run when everything sounds the same. It would seem Elegant Machinery have stalled a bit - I hope they get it together for the next album.
