Comments:

This is to my knowledge the first band who got signed not based on a demo or a handful of songs, but rather a concept. Of course, this might not have happened if one half of the band hadn't been Dave Ball from the successful synthpop band Soft Cell. This is not synthpop however, but instead instrumental techno with occasional vocal samples.

There's more to this album than the huge hit Swamp Thing, and quite a few of the tracks are rather good examples of techno-pop. Catchy.
