Comments:
This is generally a bit less synthetic than Dream Into Action; though it's still mostly made with machines, the sounds are leaned more towards real-instrument samples, much like most other pop bands at the time. There are some more examples of different musical styles here as well, like a boring and stiff reggae-type song. There are some quite catchy songs here, but not as many as on the previous album. The over-all style is a bit more mature, though. The version of No One Is To Blame is not the same as on Dream Into Action; it's been remixed and and produced by none other than Phil Collins, and it's got an extra melodic piano part and some more nice little rhythmic sounds like bells and assorted other tinkly things. I guess they re-made it for the single, since this version is probably more likely to generate decent sales. It's quite good, though.
