Comments:
People often refer to this German synth pop as a Depeche Mode clone, which isn't very fair to either of the bands. However, the closest comparison I can think of is in fact Depeche Mode around '86, but it's not too accurate. This is perhaps a bit softer, and less mature and well-produced. The most obvious 'hit' (a single, I think) is 'The Great Commandment', which sounds less like DM and more like a depressed Vince Clarke cross-bred with Alphaville (which is also an unfair comparison, of course). Lyrically, this album is a bit naive, and it sometimes show that English is not their native language. The vocals are pretty good, though. In tune and not too German-sounding.
