Being the first single for a while to actually turn up on an album (not counting The Singles), this track was a lot darker and harder than most of the previous material. 'But Not Tonight', on the other hand, was (although dark) quite positive. Apparently, it appeared in some American movie and was even released as a separate single over there. I wish I had that one.

'Breathing In Fumes' is really just a very drastic remix of 'Stripped'; one line of the song is "you're breathing in fumes". Similarly, 'Black Day' is a very warped version of 'Black Celebration', the title track from the new album. A very strange remix as well. Is that a harmonica I hear?

All in all, this is an excellent single IMHO.
