Comments:
Clearly one of the most interesting new Swedish synth pop bands to emerge in the past few years, somewhat similar in style to countrymen Mobile Homes but a bit more modern sounding (especially in the rhythm department), possibly a bit like German bands De/Vision or Camouflage when it comes to the choice of synth sounds. The novice would probably compare them to Depeche Mode around the time for Black Celebration or Music For The Masses for lack of a better comparison, but I wouldn't say they're too similar.
One thing that sets them apart from most other early '90:s Swedish synth pop bands is the fact that they have a great singer. Ok, so every now and then you can guess he's not a native English speaker, but his English (lyrics and pronounciation) far exceeds most of them (though perhaps not Statemachine). But not to forget, a band needs great songs as well, and this album is full of them. Well, at least I like them.
