Overall, Upstairs At Eric's is better IMHO, but this is still very much Yazoo, with classics like 'Nobody's Diary' and 'Walking Away From Love'. 'Happy People' is one of my personal favourites, because of two things: 1) I like the lyrics a lot. 2) This is AFAIK the ONLY song that Vince sings lead on. Very interesting.

This was the second and last Yazoo album; following the split, Vince had a few short projects (The Assembly and a single with Paul Quinn) before he recruited singer Andy Bell and started Erasure. Alison went on to have a solo career of which I know rather little, but what little I've heard was rather good. She also re-recorded Ode To Boy on her own.
