I, Frisco... (a hero of non-biblical proportions)...
	General Info:   My name is Jairo Frisco Arenas Ramirez. I was born in December 1972 in Chile. I've lived in Bulgaria between '74 and '86 and after that I've lived in Sweden. I've studied at a lot of different schools, mostly Computer oriented stuff, but also Art. The last course I took was in webprogramming focused on SQL databases. About the skull and crossbones - when I was a kid I wanted to be a pirate. I'm still fascinated by pirates and everything that goes with them... :)

I've had these (among others): SVI-328, SVI-728, C-64, ZX-80, EPSON HX-20, PET-2000, Compis 2(?), Mac Classic, SparcSTATION 20 (2x60Mhz!!) and a whole bunch of PC's. First computer (SVI-328) 1987, first PC (i80386-Sx/25) 1992. First UNIX experience 1996. Started managing Solaris and Linux 1998.

Right now I'm working at FavOptic as a NetAdmin. The network is a geeks dream: Linux only (OpenBSD on the firewalls), and no Windows machines in sight. Most of the clients are are netbooted from a RAIDed server running LessDisks under Debian GNU/Linux.

Right now I am using mostly my old Athlon-1ghz running Debian/KDE3.3. I have also Win2000 on that machine so I can run mostly games, Macromedia Director and Photoshop. I have a SparcSTATION 20 (with double 66 Mhz processors!!), but I left it at the school I used to work at for my pupils to play with.. :) .. it runs RH Linux 6.2!.. A few other PCs are laying around unused and the fabulous JavaStation that I have not had enough time to get realy running... :)

Well I like to surf the net and finding out realy weird stuff that you'd never find on the tele or in the papers. I admit that I also spend a lot of time on SlashDot and DC (I use Valknut - dcgui-qt). Lately though, I've started liking BitTorrent quite a bunch, you can find really rare stuff there! I am also a DDR and ParaPara junkie. I own a couple of DDR mats/pads and am looking for a ParaPara controller. If you have any tip mail me.. ;)

I love traveling! Be it to an unknown part of town or to an unknown (to me) part of the world - there's always something new to see and something new to learn!.. I've been to all continents except Australia (and Antarctis) but plan on visiting them both too. Favorit journeys so far have been the ones to Gambia and the Czech republic.

I love water and the rain in particular, swim, go to conserts and slam and dive, take photos, read comix, films, enjoy beautyfull art, roses and ... more ... ;-)...

I like to play my beautiful guitar and djembe (It's a westafrican drum. I learned to play it while I was part of the Dunya-Molu project). I also have a base so now I'm onto that too. I use all my skillz(!?) in the worst but coolest band in human history: coproFAGia !!!...

I don't smoke, drink or do dope... I consider all of the above to be realy stupid things to do since I'd be messing up my most important organ - the brain... Still - If you wanna do those things - it's up to you. Just don't come and bug me about "shareing some"... I hate narrowminded people who judge others by the way they look or because they got pierced tongues or whatever. I hate rascism, militarism, imperialism and male/female chauvinism. Censorship sucks in general but so does kiddieporn... which should be censored... I'm pro gun control too. I'm really disappointed with how the western hemisphere has been handling the tragic events of September 11th 2001. Bush and Blair are on my do-not-invite-to-parties list.

So far I've just ranted about my history and some other facts. But surely there has to be more to one person than where he's been and what he's done? What about the thoughts? Ideas? Wishes? Fears? I can assure you there are heaps of each of those. I did this test a couple of years ago and here's the result. Surprisingly many of my friends got the Black Knight as a result. Makes you think.. Hmm.. Anyway, now - two years later - I made the test again. It's important to make the test slowly and realy think about all the answers. So I did and behold! The result has changed! And I can tell you that I myself can feel the change. I'm a bit of a sucker for mental tests I have to admit. So here are more test results. Hopefully they can tell you more about me. If you are interested in the tests I could mail them to you (exept the Kingdomality which is online).

Another thing that can help you get an idea of who people are is their tastes in music, films and arts. Here on my page I have shared from my collection of music and art, but I haven't had time to mention films. Of course I'm "planing" a page where I recomend films, but the time!.. Where am I supposed to get time... I guess it will have to wait. Meantime I can name "a few" of my favorite films:
