Comments:
A bootleg with more or less good versions. 'Halo' is recorded too loud, and everything is disted - very unprofessional, I must say. Still, I have the same version on another bootleg, with better sound quality. The 'People Are People' version is quite good, apart from a passage where a snippet from 'World In My Eyes' and the Twin Peaks dark strings are mixed in with the track. I hate when they mix in unrelated songs like that. 'Happiest Girl' is rather good. 'Enjoy The Silence' is fairly good too, and so is 'Master And Servant'. Even though I'm not too fond of mixing two tracks with each other, I must admit that the megamix of 'Behind The Wheel / Route 66' is probably the best track on the CD, but then again, given the nature of the tracks it's a given hit. I'm not sure, but I think this version was on the limited version of the single (which I don't have). The 'World In My Eyes' version has some annoying excerpts of Kraftwerk, Snap, Recoil and 'Leave In Silence', too many to overlook. It really bugs me, because the mix is quite good apart from that. 'It's Called A Heart' is pretty ok, apart from some annoying extra vocal-type samples "bobbing" about, rather amateurish. 'Sea Of Sin' is also pretty good apart from some piece of Enya I can't for the world realise why they mixed into the track, thus ruining it. At least 'Policy Of Truth' only contains a snippet of 'Enjoy The Silence', and not a completely different artist. Not counting that really annoying piece of 'Strangelove' at the end, it's an ok mix. 'Clean' was listed as track 11, but was not on the actual CD. Bummer.
In short, many mixes are ruined by some cheap mixing with other tracks/artists. Not that I don't like these other artists, but I really hate when they do that.
