Comments:
'Strangelove' has a very annoying part of Cameo's 'Word Up' ("super DJ:s") inserted a million times, getting me really pissed at the DJ who did it. The mix of 'Happiest Girl' is quite good, but I have that on another bootleg as well. 'I Love, You Love, Me Love' and 'Down In The Boom Docks' are two Gary Glitter tracks, here with Martin singing them. The first of the two is noisy demo-style, whereas the second is more professionally produced. Rumour has it they were considered for Martin's solo album, but I doubt that. Fun, but not too good. It's a bit annoying that they screwed up the CD mastering, and put the second of the two tracks twice, one right after the other and then again as a separate track. That doesn't strike me as a very professional bootlegger. The 'New Mode Mega' mix is just a bad megamix of a whole bunch of DM songs, in amateur DJ style. Bad. The version of 'Halo' is quite good, and with better sound quality than the same version on Second Strike. 'World In My Eyes' is quite good, with elements from the Mode To Joy mix, only a bit softer and more sparse. The metal mix of 'Something To Do' is taken directly from the Shake the Disease single, and I like it a lot. The second 'Strangelove' remix is from the Everything Counts Live single, and it's also quite good. 'Waiting For The Night' is crammed with lo-fi noisy samples, and eventually also a noisy drumloop. It's ok, but a bit cheap.
